How To Maintain The Frame Of An Electric Bicycle During Daily Use

Here are some maintenance tips for electric bike frames during daily use:

Clean the frame regularly with water or a neutral detergent to remove oil and dust, keeping it clean.

Don't forget to check bolts, nuts, and other fasteners on the frame; tighten any loose ones immediately.

Lubricate moving parts regularly to prevent rust and ensure smooth operation.

Never overload the bike, as this puts excessive stress on the frame.

Park in dry locations and avoid exposing the frame to rain or water to protect the paint.

Wax the frame to prevent rust. If rust is severe, remove it first, then apply grease or a rust remover spray. A shot blasting machine can also be used.

Regularly check brakes, battery, gears, etc., and keep the chain, derailleur, and gears lubricated.

Use a dedicated charger and charge for the specified time. Avoid overcharging and discharging, and avoid vibration during charging.

Be mindful of your speed while riding; avoid frequent braking and starting to reduce high-current battery discharge.

Check tire pressure and wheel rotation before each ride.

In rainy weather, be careful when wading; do not wade deeper than the wheel hub. If water gets into the motor, immediately turn off the power and have it repaired.

You also need to regularly clean the surface dust, lubricate the front and rear axle spindles, chains, freewheels, and brake cables periodically, and have it serviced by a professional repair center regularly.
